I am the only one here that was not a developer or applications support. The company stated that they wanted someone from the business side and were impressed with the various E&amp;P companies I worked for as a Engineering Technical Asst. My issue is that I do not get opportunities to employ the skills that the BA world preaches about. And feel like I am not useful due to the lack of technical ability. I test the system when needed and log issues into sharepoint. I have not even worked with users as they still communicate with their favorites. I have a lot of downtime that I use to research exactly what BAs do. I asked a co-worker about the fact that the department does not do formal documentation on their in-house systems and he explained that they are do&#39;ers and they &quot;fly by the seat of their pants.&quot; So I dont want to leave the #40 Fortune Best Company to work for, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it&#39;s only been 6 months and in another year, I will find my way.
