Crowd funding the Australian Lean Kanban conference
So we all know the international Lean Kanban conferences are awesome and you probably know by now we're planning a Lean Kanban Australia/New Zealand conference 12-13th September this year. (Follow @LKANZconf if you missed it!)
The more interesting story is in our approach to validating the idea in a lean way. We're giving crowd funding a try and we're hoping this allows us to judge interest from the community, from sponsors and from speakers over a short 30 day test cycle.
So far we've picked the dates, started contacting speakers, researching venues, created a logo and setup our twitter feed.
Help us test our ideas: Visit http://www.pozible.com/lkanz and pledge to buy a discounted ticket or choose a reward that suits you. There are only 40 discount tickets available so get in fast to secure a really cheap price for the conference, and to show your support.
Also, talk to your company about the opportunity to sponsor the conference, they can sponsor direct from the pozible campaign or contact any of the organisers.
Finally, please put the word out via twitter or your own blog. Help us bring the world's best Lean and Kanban speakers to Australia. Let me know if you have any questions!
