Best Resources for QA?

Testing 1, 2, 3photo © 2006 alisdair | more info (via: Wylio)
The last month has just been a whirlwind. Between missing six days of work for illness, having 2 days off for holidays and being promoted, its been a lot to handle.

Wait, did I just say I got a promotion? Yes, its true. My boss has seen fit to promote me to a full manager and give me responsibility over all the analysts, both BA and QA. Now, I have six employees and three contractors for a total of 9 direct reports. I'm responsible for not only the requirements for a few different systems, I'm now responsible for the testing of over half of our internal systems. That's going to be quite a bit of work!

I tell you all of this not cause I'm seeking out congratulations, but because I'd like some help from our regular readers, some of whom I hope have lead QA teams in the past and are willing to give me some resources and insights. I've never been part of a QA team, although I've lead testing efforts for years as a BA. (Yes, according to the BABOK, testing is not a BA function, but rare is the BA who doesn't have to do that in some capacity.)

I'm looking for good material, be they books, websites, etc, about leading QA. Also, if you have general comments you'd like to leave with suggestions you have, do so in the comments as well. Looking forward to all the good advice you guys have!
