Seilevel's ROM

Seilevel have published a Requireents Object Model (ROM).  This is similar to a Requirements Entity Relationship (RER) model Guy Beauchamp put together in 2007.
Compare the two and offer your thoughts.
Either model is an interesting choice. What do they give you?

One thing is a pathway to ensure you have good coverage of the requirements, another is to ensure you have good alignment to the sponsor/business goals.

  1. Perfect timing.
We've finished the high level use cases for a portal for our program management office and now stumbling around on how to rapidly capture the requirements.

  2. I don't know about this one; to me, Functional Requirements come before Features. Without the FRs, you are just guessing at what features a solution should have.
