PMBOK Fourth Edition open for review

PMI is asking for feedback on version 4 of the PMBOK. From what I have read it's an incremental change.

You can read and comment yourself at PMI.org.

At the very least you can pre-read the next version (in draft format) and see where things are heading for PMPs.

Comments are being accepted until 22 March 08.

    I'm planning to get my PMP certification in three or four months. Does anybody knows when int's going to be released the newp PMBOK version? and if it affects the PMP exam?

  2. The PMI site wil answer these questions.

    I don't think the revision will be out before the end of the year or possibly next year, but check the site to be sure.

  3. Visit PMOInternational.com, go to the PMO Tools Download page, there are several documents which spell out the changes that are in the 4th edition and the impact to the PMP Exam.
    BTW, PMI will be releasing the PMBOK 4th edition to the general public December 31st, 2008. The PMI R.E.P.(s) have pre-released information on the content.
