This diagram represents my thoughts on the BA role. It shows what high level activities a business analyst does and maps hem against a typical SLDC (or iteration for the Agilists.) The size of the shapes also represents my view of a rough weighting of the work at that phase.

The diagram is provided for discussion and so I would very much appreciate comments from those of you who have a view on how the BA role should be managed.
